The Children's University for eight to twelve-year-olds offers first points of contact with science.

High school students make their first contacts with the University of Bern at information days, through the school student programme and through partnerships for their Matura thesis.

More than 16,000 people are studying at the University of Bern.

Over 3,000 professionals continue their education at the university in 142 continuing education programmes. Former and enrolled students network in specialist organisations and in the academic network of Alumni UniBE.

Lectures, seminars and excursions, sport and memory training are on the programme of the Senior Citizens' University.

A wide range of offers allow the general public to experience science.
